Weather Conditions:

I understand that the weather in this area can be unpredictable, with strong winds being a common occurrence. I acknowledge that Eastern Sierra Paddleboards reserves the right to cancel or modify paddle boarding activities in the event of adverse weather conditions, including strong winds, thunderstorms, or lightning. I agree to abide by any such decisions made by Eastern Sierra Paddleboards for my safety and well-being.

Safety Guidelines:

I agree to adhere to all safety guidelines, instructions, and recommendations provided by Eastern Sierra Paddleboards. I understand that these guidelines are in place to minimize risks and enhance my safety during paddleboarding activities. I acknowledge that failure to comply with these guidelines may result in injury, harm, or other adverse consequences.

Personal Fitness and Health:

I hereby affirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in paddle boarding activities. I am not aware of any medical conditions, physical limitations, or disabilities that would prevent me from engaging in such activities. I agree to inform Eastern Sierra Paddleboards of any changes in my health or fitness that may affect my ability to safely participate in paddle boarding.

Release of Liability:

In consideration of being allowed to participate in paddle boarding activities with Eastern Sierra Paddleboards, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Eastern Sierra Paddleboards, its owners, employees, agents, or representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from my participation in paddle boarding activities, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death.

Indemnification:

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Eastern Sierra Paddleboards, its owners, employees, agents, or representatives from any claims, demands, losses, or damages, including legal fees, arising out of my participation in paddle boarding activities or my violation of this waiver.

Photographic Release:

I grant Eastern Sierra Paddleboards the right and permission to use, publish, and reproduce any photographs, videos, or recordings taken during my participation in paddle boarding activities for promotional and marketing purposes, without compensation or further approval.

Company Policy

At Eastern Sierra Paddleboards, your safety and satisfaction are of utmost importance to us. To ensure a pleasant and secure experience, we have established the following company policies:


**Weather Conditions and Equipment Returns:**

1. We operate in areas with potentially windy conditions and cold water. Your safety is our priority; therefore, we reserve the right to cancel or modify paddle boarding activities if weather conditions pose any risks. In such cases, we offer the option of rescheduling for another day's rental.

2. Due to the unpredictability of weather, we do not provide cash refunds for cancellations. Instead, we issue a credit for the equivalent value of the canceled rental, which can be used for future reservations.

**Life Jackets (Personal Flotation Devices - PFDs):**

1. For your safety, all guests are required to wear properly fitting life jackets (PFDs) at all times while paddle boarding. This policy applies to all participants, regardless of swimming abilities, due to potential cold water temperatures and varying weather conditions.

2. Life jackets must be securely fastened and worn appropriately on the vessel whenever guests are in the water. It is essential to follow the instructions provided for proper usage and fit.

One lifejacket will be provided per watercraft and additional can be rented for multiple users.

**Damage Policy:**

1. Guests are expected to treat the paddleboards with care and responsibility during their rental period. Any damage caused to the equipment due to misuse or negligence will be the guest's responsibility.

2. In the event of damage to the paddleboard, the guest will be required to cover the total cost of the board's repair or replacement. Our staff will assess the damage and determine the appropriate charges accordingly.


**Guest Responsibilities:**

1. All guests must adhere to the guidelines and safety instructions provided by our staff. This includes information on proper paddleboard usage, safety procedures, and weather-related guidelines.

2. Guests should respect local rules, regulations, and environmental considerations while enjoying the waterways. Littering and harm to marine life are strictly prohibited.


**Privacy Policy:**

1. We collect and store personal and financial information provided by customers solely for the purpose of processing reservations and ensuring a smooth rental experience.

2. We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of your data. We do not share or sell customer information to third parties, except as required by law.

3. Eastern Sierra Paddleboards may take photos during paddle boarding activities. By participating, you grant us permission to use such photos on our website and marketing materials. However, we respect your privacy, and if you wish to exclude yourself from any promotional materials, please inform our staff.

Cancelation Policy

We understand that plans may change, and sometimes cancellations are necessary. To provide our guests with flexibility, we offer the following cancellation policy:


1. **Cancellation Deadline:**

- Guests may cancel their paddle boarding reservation up until 24 hours before the scheduled reservation date and time.


2. **Cancellation Process:**

- Cancellations must be made by contacting Eastern Sierra Paddleboards directly via phone or email. Our contact information is available on our website.


3. **Refund Policy:**

- For cancellations made at least 24 hours before the reservation date and time, guests will receive a full credit equivalent to the total amount paid, which can be used towards future paddleboard rentals.


4. **Late Cancellations and No-Shows:**

- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation date and time or no-shows will not be eligible for cash refunds.

- Guests will receive a credit equivalent to the total amount paid, which can be used for future paddleboard rentals.


5. **Credit Expiry:**

- The credit for future paddleboard rentals is valid for 4 months from the original reservation date.

- The credit is non-transferable and may only be used by the guest who made the original reservation.


6. **Rescheduling:**

- If you wish to reschedule your paddle boarding reservation, you may do so up until 24 hours before the original reservation date, subject to availability.

- Rescheduled reservations will be subject to the current pricing and availability at the time of rebooking.


7. **Inclement Weather Cancellations:**

- In the event that Eastern Sierra Paddleboards cancels the paddle boarding activity due to adverse weather conditions or safety concerns, guests will receive a full credit equivalent to the total amount paid, which can be used towards future rentals.


8. **Modification of Policy:**

-Eastern Sierra Paddleboards reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time. Any changes to the policy will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately.

By making a reservation with Eastern Sierra Paddleboards, guests acknowledge that they have read and understood this cancellation policy. Please ensure you cancel or reschedule your reservation within the specified time frame to take advantage of the credit for future rentals.

a. Eastern Sierra Paddleboards, reserves the right to cancel or modify paddle boarding activities in the event of adverse weather conditions, including strong winds, thunderstorms, or lightning.

b. Guests must follow safety guidelines and instructions provided by our staff during the rental period.

4. **Rider Requirements:**

a. All participants must be at least 16 years old to engage in paddle boarding activities, if younger participants need to be accompanied by an adult.

b. Guests are required to wear life jackets (Personal Flotation Devices - PFDs) at all times while on the paddleboard and in the water, as specified in our safety policy. One life jacket will be provided per watercraft and others can be rented for multiple riders.

5. **Liability and Indemnity:**

a. Guests participate in paddle boarding activities at their own risk and assume full responsibility for their actions and well-being.

b. Eastern Sierra Paddleboards, its owners, employees, agents, or representatives shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, or expense incurred during the rental period, regardless of the cause.

c. Guests agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Eastern Sierra Paddleboards, its owners, employees, agents, or representatives from any claims, demands, or liabilities arising from their participation in paddle boarding activities.

6. **Equipment Use and Care:**

a. Guests are responsible for the proper use and care of the paddleboard equipment during the rental period.

b. Any damage to the equipment caused by misuse or negligence will be the guest's responsibility, and they will be charged for the total cost of repair or replacement.

7. **Health and Fitness:**

a. Guests must assess their own physical fitness and swimming capabilities before participating in paddle boarding activities.

b. Individuals with underlying health conditions, medical concerns, or recent injuries should consult their healthcare provider before engaging in paddle boarding.
