Planning a lake day in Mammoth, June Lake, Lee Vining, or anywhere in the Eastern Sierra? Renting a paddleboard should be simple, flexible, and stress-free. At Eastern Sierra Paddleboards, we make the rental process easy so you can spend more time enjoying the water.

Step 1: Submit a Rental Request

To get started, simply fill out our contact form with your preferred rental date, number of boards, and where you are hoping to paddle. Once we receive your request, we’ll reach out to confirm availability and coordinate the details.

Because we are a small, locally run paddleboard rental business, we personally confirm each rental to make sure the timing, location, and pickup/drop-off plan works for you.

Step 2: Confirm Delivery or Pickup

We offer 24-hour paddleboard rentals, which means you get the board for a full rental period rather than just a short time slot.

For many customers, the easiest option is evening delivery. We can drop the board off at your home, condo, hotel, or vacation rental the evening or morning before your lake day, then pick it up the following evening/morning after you are done paddling.

Delivery is available in Mammoth Lakes, and may also be available to nearby areas such as June Lake and Lee Vining for a small additional delivery fee depending on location.

Prefer to save a little? You can also pick up and return your board in Crowley Lake for a discounted rate.

Step 3: Learn How to Use the Board

All of our paddleboards are inflatable, beginner-friendly, and easy to use. When deflated, they pack down small enough to fit in most cars, making pickup and transport simple.

If we deliver the board to you, we can show you how to inflate and deflate it, explain how to use the paddle and safety gear, and answer any questions before your rental begins. If needed, we can also help you inflate the board and show you the best way to load or secure it for transport.

Our goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and confident before heading out for your lake day.

Step 4: Enjoy Your Full 24-Hour Rental

Our rentals are charged by the 24-hour period. This gives you more flexibility than a short hourly rental and allows you to plan your paddle around your schedule, the weather, and the lake you want to visit.

You can take your board to a calm alpine lake, enjoy a relaxed morning paddle, spend the afternoon exploring the shoreline, or make it part of a full day outside with friends and family.

Popular nearby paddleboard spots include Convict Lake, Lake Mary, June Lake, and other beautiful Eastern Sierra lakes. Wherever you go, be sure to check current weather and wind conditions before getting on the water.

Step 5: Return or Schedule Pickup

At the end of your rental period, we’ll either pick the board up from the agreed-upon location or you can return it to us in Crowley Lake, depending on the option you selected.

We’ll confirm all pickup and return details ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect.
